Thesis Statment
This week in class, I am having a hard time coming up with my thesis statment. I thought I had it down pack when I took my last writing class. But it sems like it is getting harder than I thought. My topic is on the causes of skin cancer. Maybe I need to find another topic to write about. I hope I can get this writing down so I can pass this class.

I think that you should look for something controversial that has to do with your topic and include that in your thesis statement. I had a hard time with starting my thesis statement also, but the professor had said that she wanted us to chose a controversial subject to write about, I knew that your thesis statement should be what you are going to write about. Which in your case is something that has to do with skin cancer. Maybe you should include something about tanning beds? Let me know how you are coming along!
